Friends of Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Public Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the library and community through fundraising, volunteerism, and public engagement.
We're neighbors, volunteers, and supporters united by a shared commitment to literacy, culture and people.
To inspire pride in our community by celebrating our diverse history and culture, expanding opportunities, supporting lifelong learning, and advocating for a thriving library.
The Friends operate bookstores, ongoing book sales, and raise funds to support:
